They boys became Padoines at the Stars Tours Part of Hollywood Studios.

Vacation - Part 1

We took the kids to Florida. It was a long drive - 2 days worth. Thank goodness for DVD players in the van, Nintendo DS, books, etc. - How did my parents did it when I was young, I don't know!

We stopped at Daytona Beach on Day 2. (When Jason got up on the 2nd driving day he said, "This is the best day ever!) - lol

We went to Magic Kingdom first.

We met Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Blizzard Beach, a water park was the next day.

Then we went to Hollywood Studios.

We had dinner at T-Rex Cafe.

Then we went to Animal Kingdom.

Finally we went to Epcot.

Swing....

Busy Spring

Okay - so it has been forever since I updated this blog - so here I go.

Tj participated in the Talent Show at school. He did a wonderful job of doing his karate kata.


Our church had a Pinewood Derby - They boys did well with the cars they made (our first time) - Jason got 4th in his age group and Tj got 3rd.



Then we went to Breakfast with the Bunny at the Akron Zoo. Jason got the golden egg and got an extra prize!



We went to Great Wolf Lodge for our Spring Break.


Jason started playing soccer.


Finally, we went to the CAVS game and showed our CAVS spirit.

8 wonderful years!

8 wonderful years ago - my baby was born. This year he was so excited to get his golf clubs!!!

Proud Mommy Moment

TJ tested for his blue belt last week. Mommy was soooooo proud!!!!!

1st Day of School

TJ had a great first day of 2nd grade. (When did he get that old?!?!?!?)
Jason started his last year of preschool.

New Shoes

We went to the Indians game today. They had fun activities for the children - inflatable slides, bouncey, etc. So the boys took off their shoes and played. While on the bouncey, TJ's shoes were taken/stolen. We went the the kids tent and the excorted us in, searched for TJ's shoes, and gave him slider slippers when they couldn't find his shoes. We had to go buy TJ a pair of crocs (The slippers were a little too big and not rubber soled). Thank goodness Tj didn't get upset. Not a great way to start off a game - at least the Tribe won!

My throat hurts!!!!

TJ had surgery today to take out his adenoids and his tonsils. He made it through the surgery like a champ. Now it is recovery time.

TJ and Jason wanted to wear ties to church so I told them to find a button down shirt. Note to self - be more specific next time!

Tj's new job

TJ has started to catch at the baseball game.

Baseball

Tj started kid-pitch baseball this spring. He plays for the Braves. He is starting to swing the bat finally and hopefully will get a hit soon.

Spring Break

To celebrate TJ's 7 birthday, we took a spring break trip to the Poconos. (yeah, you are supposed to go south but we went north.
He had such a great time skiing. Both the boys loved it.

Bedtime

Jason and Tj decided to help Daddy read Go Dog Go (Yes we have read it enough that Jason can "read" the words)

Wild and crazy boys!

Greg got a new job (same company just more responsibility) and needed to move 3 doors down from his previous office. He spent a lot of time cleaning out the new office on Thursday and then wanted help hanging his pictures. So we went in on Friday evening to help. Well at least I went into help. The kids came because their mother made them come. While Greg and I were moving things over, Tj and Jason drew on the white board. TJ then decided to use the spray to clean the board without erasing it first. It created quite a mess.

TJ's tooth

Tj lost the second of his front teeth before school on Friday.
I can't believe how quickly he has grown up!
