He is Risen!!

We taught the children to answer "He is Risen indeed" when someone says "He is Risen." Our lunch time today was the boys saying it over and over again. It was so cute to know that they understand that Jesus is risen from the grave!

Hoppy Easter!!!

WE went to the Akron Zoo to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny and go on an egg hunt.

Resurrection Cookies

To help the boys understand why we celebrate Easter we made Resurrection cookies. We did them on Friday night because Mommy had to be at church by 6:45 on Easter to sing.
The boys seemed to understand some of the story. The cookies are empty just like the tomb!

Homework ?!?!?!?!?

Tj has his first spelling test this week. I wish my homework was this fun. Jason wanted to join too.

Amazing Testimony

Last night Greg and I went to see the United Tour with Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W Smith. Steven's testimony was AMAZING. He lost his 5 year old daughter last May. He told stories about her and kept giving glory and praise to God! It was so moving and inspiring!

So Much fun

We had so much fun the last few days of our Spring Break vacation. We were so glad to go but even happier to return home.
